DRESS RIGHT FOR DATE NIGHT

Who wouldn’t love a candlelit dinner with lots of kissing, wooing and canoodling with your special someone? These days, though, we have more and more going out options that are non-traditional and creative. To help you prep for that special date, here is our guide to looking fashionably gorgeous no matter what kind of date you have!
If your date involves the outdoors…
Make sure you wear something comfy and fuss-free (no to silk and short, flippy skirts that make you the target of Peeping Toms!). Don’t worry about looking losyang; just go the preppy route and wear nice sneakers or training shoes, a simple tee or tank top, paired with comfy (but still stylish) jogging pants or shorts. You can opt to wear leggings instead of jogging pants. Do remember to avoid wearing white bottoms; they’ll be ruined and dirtied with all your mucking about in the great outdoors.
Tip: Do remember to slather on SPF before heading outside. It would also do you good if you put on anti-mosquito lotion, or tote one along. Your date would be anything but romantic if you wound up with super itchy and icky bug bites and a nasty sunburn!
If you’ll be dining by candlelight…
Take your LBD out of your closet and put it to good use! Add a few subtle bling and slip into your sexy stilettos, spritz on your most tantalizing perfume, and off you go.
And do invest in some quality lingerie—you never know how the night’s going to end!
If you don’t know where he’s taking you...
You should still make the effort of dressing up. Just keep it low-key, and stick to pieces you know you love and that love your body back. Skinny jeans paired with a pretty top and comfy ballet flats would take you anywhere. Whether it’s to dine at an out-of-the-way restaurant or to explore a carnival or to watch a play, you’re ready for anything!
